In my experience, they haven’t worked for people I know who’ve used them. There’s always an initial excitement about new diets and the feeling of motivation when introduced to a new system. I've been a public elementary school teacher in an urban environment for over 20 years! I've taught students of different grades, religions, ethnicities, and backgrounds. I have loved my job as an educator and have always been passionate about helping my students succeed! I'd like to help you on your journey of weight control and am just as passionate about my values concerning health and fitness! Just as I tell my can do anything you put your heart, mind, and body to! I'd love to see and hear about all of your successes and hurdles. It's a journey, a choice, and a lifestyle. Nothing worthwhile is easily achieved, but you can get there with hard work and perseverance!  


It's hard sometimes! I know! I'm 52 and there are days that I'm tired after teaching and want to go home and grab a cup of coffee and sit on the couch and watch the news! I get it. And you know what? Sometimes I do just that! It's okay. You know your body. However, get your mind conditioned to do something after work or during the day. Decide each day how you're going to help your body become more fit through food and exercise. Then do it consistently and it will become habit!

Every diet or weight management plan takes time. The important thing in any program is sticking with it and enjoying the process of learning how to eat a more healthy diet and lose weight the responsible way. If you're in your 50's like me, you need a little patience and perseverance to see real results. Remember, my plan is based on 30 years of experience of eating and exercising. If I can do it, you can too!
